Welcome to my world of heartfelt photography!

I was born in the beautiful region of Puglia, Italy in the '80s, where I developed a deep love for its culture, scents, and authentic soul. While I call Puglia home, I feel most alive when I'm traveling and exploring new destinations. Life, for me, is about cherishing the simple joys that hold immense value. As an Italian, I embrace the pleasures of coffee, pasta, and wine. Cooking and enjoying a good meal are truly special experiences, especially when shared with great company. In Italy, food brings people together, and I embody this philosophy entirely.

When you visit my studio, you'll always be greeted with a glass of fine wine.

Despite appearances, I'm an introspective and empathetic person. These qualities shine through in my work. Photography became my refuge during a transformative period in my life when I experienced an existential crisis. It allowed me to capture the essence of love in its purest form. Through my lens, I seek out the subtle gestures between lovers, the intertwining of hands, and the vulnerable gazes that speak volumes about their connection. These photographs are whispers that transport us back in time, evoking unforgettable and irreplaceable emotions.

My world is a blend of beloved plants, vintage film, the gentle rustling of sheets drying in the sun, and the comforting taste of homemade meals, reminiscent of my grandmother's kitchen. It's filled with old music and nostalgic scents. I cherish small gestures like leaving post-it notes with messages for my loved ones and yearn for those who are absent from my life each day.

This is what inspires me when I photograph love,

recalling the roots of tradition but in a modern and essential key.

MY ROOTS

My university career was centered on the history of art, a subject that I love and that has fueled my growth since I was a child when i visited a lot of museums and churchs with my parents;

I love Greco-Roman sculpture, Caravaggio's light, essential Romanesque architecture, Renaissance elegance and the light of the Macchiaioli, provocation and essentiality of contemporary Art.

MY LAND

Italy is at the center of the Mediterranean

basin and it is shaped like a boot,

Puglia is the heel.

The weight of traditions in Puglia is very relevant and not only from the point of view of the many monumental traces of the past but also, for the food habits, of which the Apulians are rightly very proud and the foreigners very greedy. These are simple foods: from bread to oil, from wine to the famous orecchiette, to fish dishes, to fresh dairy products.

The value of the past is also found in traditional music such as pizzica.
